As: it has more than one meaning.

Conjunction
When; while
Example: I met John as I was coming home; we'll be able to talk as we go.
عِنْدَما، بَيْنَما، عِنْدَما

Conjunction
Because
Example: As I am leaving tomorrow, I've bought you a present.
In the same way that
Example: If you are not sure how to behave, do as I do.
